Yesh Chala (he/him) is a researcher and builder based in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally from India, he brings together a background in computer science, human systems engineering, and behavioral science to study how people interact with emerging technologies.

His work focuses on digital cultures, human-AI interaction, behavioral design, and public policy. He has worked across academic research, UX research, product development, and applied technology strategy, with experience at Arizona State University’s ADAPT Lab, the Center for Acceleration of Operational Efficiency, and Tata Consultancy Services Research. His past research has explored trust metrics in human-AI interaction, digital habits, intentionality, resilience engineering, public perceptions of generative AI, and interfaces for multimodal AI systems.

Yesh is also the founder of Patronus Labs, a research and insight agency exploring how technology and human behavior shape one another. Through Patronus Labs, he works on projects spanning digital well-being, AI adoption, qualitative research, foresight studies, and human-centered product insight.
